Megan and Martine (under the hood) on Paul Finger's Milwaukee International Official Tour. This tour lasted about three hours. We were forced to drink cheap margaritas and then the van broke down. Before that we had to wear these brightly colored hoods and listen to Paul Finger yell about how developers have ruined Milwaukee. He is a terrible, TERRIBLE driver. Faythe Levine (of Paperboat Boutique and Gallery) refuses to drive with him.
First stop on the tour: a spring water well in Bayview. Martine and Megan drank from both sides for "good luck."
Second stop on the tour: abandoned factory.
Third stop on the tour: Elotes from a street vendor on the Southside. Later, the best horchata I've (Martine) ever had, and churros. Delish. At this point the van was leaking coolant. We stopped at a gas station where Paul patched it with chewing gum and duct tape, seriously, then we went to a junk store. Then the car stopped so we got margaritas at Conehitos, where I saw the two most amazing prints. I didn't have my camera with me though....dang! Go to Conehitos if you're ever in Milwaukee and you want to see some good art.
