Friday, June 27th Golden Age is honored to host the Arbor Midwest Tour Kickoff Show!

Frozen zoners Uneven Universe (Detroit, MI) team up with earth bound drone-youth Treetops (Western Springs, IL), winsome terrorizer Steve Young (Chicago, IL) and hooded gods of shred Slave Trade (Chicago, IL) to kick off their Midwestern tour at Golden Age. It will be a blast you will leave happy! The rumble starts at 8pm and Admission is 5 bucks!

YES WE'VE MOVED! We've moved onto the main strip, ye old 18th street. We are now at 1744 W 18th Street, 1 block west of the 18th street stop on the pink line and 2 blocks west of 18th and Ashland. WE WILL BE OPEN THIS WEEK BY APPOINTMENT.

Also, we never posted about the Kanye West concert. It was totally rad! He is so good. I liked him as a persona and as a pop star, but now I like him as a performer. The highlight of the concert was the self help book that was handed out at the end, entitled "Thank You and You're Welcome."

Some gems include:

"People always act like they're doing more for you than you're doing for them. Obviously, you bring something to the table for them to even do business with you."

"To use is necessary and if you can't be used...then you're useless."

"If you know you're the best, it only makes sense for you to surround yourself with the best."

and lastly

"If EVERYBODY thinks it's right...You're doing something wrong!"
