Our website is down right now (WTF MediaTemple), so I know this won't get posted until after this shit is sorted out. Whatevs.

I've been on MySpace for hours killing time between customers and getting the Golden Age name out there. (We need more hits)

I totally hate the advertising on that site. There's this ad that keeps popping up that says "Are you fat?" and I'm wondering if they're insidious enough to show that when you make your profile say you are full-figure/plus-sized/however they phrase it. That is so fucked up I can't get over it. I mean I'm over it, but it's still totally bogus.

Marco said my last post was "too confusing" so I'm going to make it simple this time: I bought a blackberry today! I'm posting on the go right now and by that I mean I'm sitting in front of my computer and using a tiny keyboard instead. The future is now!

Richard Belzer likes to blur the lines of reality and fiction, as evidenced by his hyper-real character Munch who show-hopped between Homicide and Law&Order. I know from watching television that Munch/Belzer is an art lover. Here Munch/Belzer is at PaceWildenstein ( as seen on Art Forum Diary) getting close to Mr. Lou Reed, the shriveled turtle himself. Art Forum calls Munch/Bezer a "performer." I think that is quite accurate. I'd like to imagine Munch/Belzer later walking up to a certain dealer also pictured in the post and being really buddy-buddy. That would fulfill my mental marriage of television and art, my only true loves.

Can you imagine how it must feel to have 20,000 people sing your words back to you? Or to be apart of the 20,000? I'm totally sold. I want to experience Beyonce. I believe she is one of the most captivating performers of our time. If this doesn't sell you, keep watching. From her all-female band to her on-stage banter to the costume changes, she's a pop star for the thinking woman.

I decided this week that Beyonce is the current leader of pop female vocalists. She's probably as good as Whitney. Maybe better considered Whitney is totally out of commission (even with her upcoming tour approaching). I've been watching clips from The Beyonce Experience and I'm sold. The next time she comes to Chicago I am going. From her all-female band to the horde of dancers to LED stairs, and all that wind! She looks so comfortable on stage. Irreplaceable is the best clip by far. In it,

So, the new Gossip Girl was totally mind bending. I'd been an avid second hand viewer until tonight, when the last 20 seconds of the show gave me a full fledged, WHAT? And I am now 100% engaged, and after seeing the teaser for next week, I cannot wait for Monday.

I hope the writers keep the arc strong throughout the second half of the season because I am interested...

Kanye West is playing at United Center May 23-24!

My latest obsession is trying to be hired as one of his bloggers. Seriously, one of his writers is an architecture/art/design buff. I could do that! If I could be a professional blogger for say, Kanye, Pharrell, and any other psuedo-alternative rapper I could be rolling in it.
